Refund Policy
At Deewan, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional event services that meet and exceed our clients’ expectations. However, we understand that sometimes plans may change, and event cancellations or modifications may be necessary. To provide clarity and transparency, we have outlined our refund policy below.
Refund with 50% Deduction
If you need to cancel your event booking or request a refund for any reason, we offer a partial refund with a 50% deduction from the total amount paid. This policy applies if the cancellation or refund request is made more than 30 days before the scheduled event date. The 50% deduction covers administrative and preparatory costs that have already been incurred to plan your event. The remaining 50% will be refunded to you in accordance with the terms outlined here.
Example: If your event is cancelled 30 days prior, and you paid Rs 10,000 you will receive a refund of Rs5000.
Refund with 70% Deduction
For cancellations or refund requests made within 30 days and up to 15 days before the event, Deewan will retain 70% of the total booking amount. Only 30% will be refunded, as by this time, most of the event preparation, including coordination, vendor arrangements, and decor setups, would have been completed.
Example: If your event is cancelled within 15 to 30 days prior to the event, and you paid Rs1000, you will receive a refund of Rs300.
No Refunds for Cancellations Less than 15 Days Before the Event
Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for cancellations made less than 15 days before the event. At this stage, significant preparations would have been finalized, and non-recoverable costs would have been incurred.
We encourage clients to notify us of any changes as early as possible to ensure minimal financial loss.
Additional Notes
Refunds apply only to Deewan’s direct services and exclude non-refundable deposits, third-party vendor payments, and any additional services booked outside of our core offerings.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to our official email at [email address], or through the cancellation form available on our website.
The refund process may take 7 to 14 business days to complete, depending on your payment method. You will be notified once your refund is processed.
Non-Refundable Services
Some services, such as specialized equipment rentals or certain catering items, may have non-refundable deposits. These will be communicated to you at the time of booking. If you cancel your event and have paid for such services, these specific amounts will not be included in your refund.
